Visit us
You will find our wee distillery at The Pier Garage on Jura per the map but obviously it is not quite as simple as popping in the car for a visit. If you want to visit us you will need to get at least one boat - depending on how you travel.

Thursday 10.30am - 3pm
Friday 10.30am - 3pm
Other days by arrangement - contact team@deerisland.co.uk if you want to visit outside of our normal opening hours.
Alternatively - visit the Antlers Bakehouse and Bar opposite the Jura Community Shop to try and buy our rum!
How to find us
The quickest way to get to Jura from the mainland is on the Jura Passenger Ferry. The trip only takes about 50 mins and there are options to do a quick day trip, but as the name suggests they only take people and bikes! If you want to bring a car you will need to get to us via Islay. Calmac sails to Islay on a daily basis (crossing takes around 2 hours) and from there you can get another wee ferry to Jura.
It may sound like a long journey but we can assure you it’s worth it.
